Our Care
Here at Sunrise, we have 2 preschool rooms, our young preschool we call Dolphins and our PreK room we call the Whales.
Our Dolphin room continues to work on ABC’s, 123’s, colors and shapes, but we also work on cutting with scissors, gluing and working with properly using crayons and markers.
Our PreK Whale room prepares the kids for kindergarten. They really focus on letter recognition so the children can read and write their own name. Our curriculum has them improving their skills to be successful in kindergarten.

Our young preschool room continues with potty training. We also move forward with cognitive learning. The different “stations” throughout our classroom help us to learn how to cooperate with our peers, act out real life situations in our dramatic play area and work on hand/eye coordination with manipulatives.
Explore the PreK Room
Our PreK room takes all we have learned so far at Sunrise and pushes it to the next level. We learn how to work together, yet still have our own independence in a classroom setting. We focus on each individual child to help them prepare to be successful in kindergarten.
